Shustoke C of E Primary School

Our school’s philosophy is centred on the development of the whole child. We want our children to enjoy coming to school and to have fun! We aim to enable all children to achieve success intellectually and personally so that they grow up to be happy, confident, responsible citizens of the future.

At Shustoke, we want to foster pupil achievement and self- belief through the provision of a broad and enriched curriculum. We provide opportunities to develop individual talents and interests, as well as providing a firm foundation in basic skills, so that our children are able to respond positively to the opportunities and demands of a rapidly changing world. We aim to promote the physical, mental and emotional health of the whole school community, thereby enabling our children to make healthy choices and lead a healthy lifestyle.

We endeavour to provide an environment where everyone feels welcome, secure and valued – meeting the needs and aspirations of the children, their families and the wider community through involvement of pupils, staff, parents, governors, and the community in providing the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.
